Photo editor for the fixes most photos actually need

This tool adjusts the light and color of a photo with a row of simple sliders, in your browser, at full resolution. Brightness, contrast, saturation, exposure, warmth and blur cover the corrections most pictures are actually asking for. One-click looks restyle a photo in a tap, and an auto levels button balances the tones before you touch anything. Nothing is uploaded, and you can hold a button at any time to compare against the original.

Most photos fail in ordinary ways. They are a little dark, a little flat, a little cold. This page is built for those fixes, done in a minute, without opening a heavy editing program.

    How to edit a photo

    1. Drop your photo into the box above. It opens at full resolution with the sliders at rest.
    2. Press auto levels first if the photo looks dull or washed out. It balances the darkest and lightest tones in the frame.
    3. Move the sliders in small steps: brightness or exposure for overall light, contrast for punch, saturation for color strength, warmth for a cooler or warmer cast.
    4. Try a one-click look if you want a mood instead of a correction. Hold the compare button to check the look against your original.
    5. Download the edited photo at full resolution. Your original file stays untouched.

A sane order for fixing a photo

Order matters more than strength. Start with auto levels, which stretches the tones the photo already holds so blacks are black and whites are white. Half the dull photos people bring to an editor are fixed right there. After that, set the overall light with brightness or exposure, then add contrast until edges and shapes feel firm. Push too far on contrast and shadows turn to black blocks while bright areas blow out to plain white, so stop while detail still shows at both ends.

Color comes after light. Saturation raises every color at once, and skin gives the game away first: when faces look sunburned, you have gone too far. Warmth shifts the whole frame between a blue, cold cast and a yellow, warm one, which fixes indoor shots taken under mixed light. Blur is the odd one out in this row. It softens the whole frame, handy for a gentle background plate behind text, and wrong for almost everything else. When the edit is done and the file needs to fit a form or an inbox, the compress image tool takes it from there. Both live in the image tools collection.

The honest limits of this editor

Know what this page is, and what it is not. Every slider here adjusts the whole picture at once. There are no layers, no masks and no selections, so you cannot brighten one face, change one sky or edit one corner on its own. There is no retouching, no blemish removal, no object removal and no red-eye tool. A photo that needs surgery needs a full editor. A photo that needs light and color needs this page.

Two more plain facts. The looks are recipes of the same sliders, not filters borrowed from anywhere else, and they apply at the strength you see. And the export is a fresh encode of your edited picture. Saving as JPG costs a little fine detail, as every JPG save does, so edit once from the original and save once, rather than saving, reopening and saving again.

Your files stay on your device

Every adjustment renders in this browser tab. Your photo is never uploaded, never stored on a server and never seen by anyone at ToolPeko. Close the tab and the edit is gone, while your original file sits untouched wherever you keep it. There is no account, no daily limit and no watermark.

    FAQs

Is this a replacement for Photoshop?

No. This editor makes global light and color corrections with sliders and one-click looks. It has no layers, masks, retouching or object removal. For everyday fixes to brightness, contrast and color it is enough. For detailed work it is not, and it does not pretend to be.

What does the auto levels button do?

It looks at the darkest and lightest tones in your photo and stretches them to a full range, so a dull or washed-out picture gains firm blacks and clean whites. It is the best first step on most photos, and the sliders can refine the result after.

Can I undo an edit or start over?

Yes. The reset button clears every slider and look back to the untouched photo. Your original file on your device is never changed at any point, so you can also simply close the tab and begin again.

Does editing a photo reduce its quality?

The adjustments themselves work on the full resolution picture. The saving step re-encodes it, and a JPG save costs a little fine detail. Work from the original, save once, and the cost stays at that single small step.

What do the one-click looks change?

Each look is a preset mix of the sliders. Vivid pushes saturation and contrast, warm and cool shift the color cast in their named directions, black and white removes the color, and sepia adds a warm brown cast. You can still move the sliders after applying a look.

    Are my photos uploaded anywhere?

No. The editing runs in your browser on your own device. Nothing is sent, stored or shared, and there is no sign-up.
