Cookies are small text files that a website asks your browser to keep. This page lists what ToolPeko uses, and the honest headline is that it is very little. ToolPeko runs no advertising cookies and no cookies that track you across other websites.
For a visitor who is only using the tools, ToolPeko sets no cookies of its own for tracking or marketing. WordPress and our caching layer may set strictly necessary cookies that help keep the site secure and quick, for example to serve a cached page or to balance traffic. Those cookies carry no profile of you, hold no record of what you did with a tool, and are not shared with advertisers.
Some tools need to remember something between visits or page loads. The Invoice Generator, for example, keeps your draft invoice so a closed tab does not cost you your work. Tools like that use your browser’s local storage, which lives on your own device and is never sent to our server. You can clear it at any time from your browser settings. The only thing you lose is the saved draft itself.
The tools load open-source code libraries from public delivery networks, and a few load model files from their official public sources. Those are plain file downloads, not cookie-based tracking, although the network delivering the file can see the technical details of the request itself, such as your IP address. ToolPeko adds no third-party advertising or analytics cookies of its own to that picture.
Every modern browser lets you view, block and delete cookies in its privacy settings. Blocking even the strictly necessary ones can make pages load a little less smoothly, but the tools themselves will still work, because the tools do their work inside your browser rather than through cookies.
The wider picture of what this site does with information is set out in the Privacy Policy. Questions about cookies go to info@toolpeko.com.
