These Writing Templates give you 12 finished letters and emails with fill-in forms beside each one, so you leave with a complete letter instead of a blank skeleton. Pick a template, fill names, dates and amounts, watch the letter build itself, then copy it or download it as a plain text file.

How the Writing Templates forms work

Each template is a complete letter, already written, with blanks where your details belong. The form beside the letter asks for those details one by one: names, dates, an order number, an amount, a last working day. As you fill a field, the letter rebuilds itself with your words in place, so what you read is the letter you will send.

    1. Pick one of the 12 templates from the list.
    2. Fill the blanks in the form: names, dates, numbers and amounts.
    3. Read the preview and check the list of blanks still unfilled.
    4. Fill what is left, because the download waits until every blank is done.
    5. Copy the letter, or download it as a .txt file.

The preview never hides its gaps. A blank you skipped shows as a marked placeholder in the letter, and the page lists what is still missing. The download stays locked until every blank is filled, so a letter with a hole in it cannot slip out by accident. That one guard saves the classic template disaster: sending a resignation that still reads Dear [Manager Name].

The 12 Writing Templates and when each one fits

The set covers the letters people most often have to write cold. A resignation letter for leaving a job with a notice period stated cleanly. A sick leave email and a leave application for time off from work, and a school absence note for a parent writing to a school. A cover letter to sit with a job application, and a thank-you email after an interview while the meeting is still fresh.

The rest handle the awkward jobs. A complaint email that states the problem and the fix you want. A refund request email with order number and amount in their places. A meeting request email that proposes a time instead of circling one. A recommendation request email that gives the writer your details and your deadline. An apology email for a missed deadline that owns the slip and names the new date. And an assignment extension request that asks early, with a reason and a plan. Each one is written in a plain, polite register that suits most workplaces and schools.

    Honest limits of Writing Templates

A template is a starting shape, not a guarantee. It gets the structure right, the order of the parts, the polite open and the clear close. It cannot promise that a manager accepts a notice period, that a company grants a refund, or that a school excuses an absence. The answer depends on the reader and the rules, not on the wording alone.

Formal letters can carry legal or contractual weight. A resignation sets dates that pay and notice hang on. A complaint can start a paper trail. The wording and the required details vary by country, employer and institution, so check the rules of whoever receives the letter before you send it. And adapt the middle paragraphs in your own words. A letter copied word for word reads as a template, because it is one. Two or three sentences in your own voice, about your own facts, turn the shape into a letter that sounds like you wrote it, which is the whole point. Nothing you type is uploaded. The forms fill in inside this tab, and the letter leaves only when you copy or download it.

    FAQs

    Which templates are included?

Twelve: a resignation letter, a sick leave email, a school absence note, a leave application, a cover letter, a complaint email, a meeting request email, a thank-you email after an interview, a recommendation request email, an apology email for a missed deadline, an assignment extension request and a refund request email.

Do I leave with a finished letter or a skeleton?

A finished letter. Each template is fully written, and the form fills your names, dates and amounts into the blanks. The preview rebuilds as you type, and the download waits until no blank is left.

What if I skip a blank?

The preview marks the gap in the letter and lists what is still unfilled. Copying is possible, but the download stays locked until every blank is filled, so an unfinished letter cannot slip out by mistake.

Can I change the wording of a template?

Yes, and you should. Download or copy the letter, then adapt the middle paragraphs in your own words. A letter sent word for word reads as a template, and your own facts sound better.

Are these letters legally safe to send?

A template is a starting shape, not a guarantee. Resignations and complaints can carry legal or contractual weight, and required details vary by country, employer and institution. Check the rules of the receiver first.

Is what I type uploaded or stored?

No. The forms fill in inside your browser tab. Nothing is sent or stored, and the letter leaves only when you copy it or download the .txt file.
